After two and half decades in full-time pastoral ministry Rev. Randy LeBaron took a step of faith and followed God’s call to step out of his role as a Lead Pastor in order to share God’s Word and Christ’s love outside the walls of the church and alongside other organizations that also serve the underprivileged and the overlooked. On July 1, 2019 he was commissioned and appointed as an Evangelist in the Genesis Conference of the FMCUSA and simultaneously founded Go Scatter Ministries—a non-denominational, non-profit, ministry with a mission to“Engage in, and Equip Every Christian for, Everyday Evangelism”.
This is being accomplished by offering a variety of services both on site and online. Pastor Randy has had the opportunity to share Christ in multiple coffee shops, churches, denominations, and countries, spanning four continents. He has served as a Lead Pastor, Camp Evangelist, Retreat Facilitator, Mission’s Team Leader, Guest Speaker for Men’s & Mission Events, Volunteer Sheriff’s Chaplain, Care-Net Peer Counselor, Hands 4 Hope Team Member, Community Kitchen Volunteer, Co-Founder of P.A.C.T. (Pastors Aligned for Community Transformation), and as an officiant for weddings, funerals, and other ministry related services. He is also the host of the FB Page & YouTube Channel “Refill with Randy” (recently highlighted on the Family Life Radio Network) and the creator and co-contributor of the various blogs offered via GoScatterMinistries.org and GoScatter.blog
In addition to honorariums received for speaking engagements Pastor Randy relies on the generous support of individual donors and churches. As both the Conference Evangelist and the sole employee of GSM he has established different methods of fundraising much like a modern day missionary. To that end, and in an effort to create a consistent and sustainable support structure moving forward, we have launched the Monthly Ministry Partner Program.This is a great new way to invest, and take more of a vested interest, in furthering the gospel message through the ongoing mission and ministries of Pastor Randy and GSM. There are five different commitment levels to choose from for individuals and churches and each comes with benefits and services as a way of saying “Thank You” as well as keeping you up to date and engaged with the life of the ministry.

Q. WHY DO YOU RECEIVE HONORARIUMS FOR SERVICES?
As much as I would love to be able to offer all services for free the reality is that until I am fully funded by donors like you this is the primary way for me to provide for my family.
Q. HOW ARE THE DONATIONS USED?
Currently, as a self-funding evangelist and the sole employee of Go Scatter Ministries Inc., the primary purpose is to provide me with a salary and cover the costs of insurance, pension, and Soc.Sec. I remit funds to The Genesis Conference of the FMCUSA and they issue me a paycheck out of it on a monthly basis. Beyond that donations are also used for: audio/video equipment, website fees, promotional material, and funding community mission projects.
Q. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF APPROACHING MINISTRY THIS WAY?
In a word… FLEXIBILITY. By not being attached to only one church or congregation I am free to share the messages God has put on my heart with many more people, churches, and denominations. Also, by not having to be bi-vocational in a traditional 9-5 sense, I am freed up to use my time to assist other churches and organization at no cost to them. Currently I volunteer with: Hands 4 Hope, Care-Net, P.A.C.T., as a volunteer Sheriff’s Chaplain. I also serve as a Chapel Speaker for Christian Schools and Colleges and assist with community mission events and am available for counseling, pastoral care, coffee ministry, and all the time it takes to create, edit, and share online resources and videos.
Q. WILL I RECEIVE A TAX RECEIPT FOR MY DONATIONS?
If you send your donation by check to Genesis Conference with Evangelist Fund in the memo line then YES. If you choose to send your monthly gift electronically via PayPal or any other method then NO.With the current standardized deduction being so high most people no longer itemize and therefore do not need a tax receipt.
Q. WHEN WILL I START RECEIVING THE BENEFITS OFFERED?
You will receive your partnership certificate and welcome e-mail within the first month and other ongoing benefits, such as the newsletter, quarterly update videos, and ZOOM sessions with Pastor Randy, will start whenever the next one is scheduled after you sign up. Mugs will be sent after the second donation is received and other things like pulpit supply, the sermon series, ministry assessments, and the bi-monthly spiritual guidance sessions will be at a mutually agreed upon day and time. When possible, these should be scheduled 1-2 months in advance.
Q. WHAT IF MY CHURCH IS OUT OF THE AREA?
Practically speaking, if your church is more than 100 miles from Albion I would still be glad to have you partner with me but we may need to meet over ZOOM and extra $ for travel & accommodations might be necessary.
Q. WHAT IF I CANNOT COMMIT ON A MONTHLY BASIS BUT STILL WANT TO GIVE SOMETHING?
I understand that there are those receiving this who may want to support me and my ministry but cannot on a continual basis. Your one-time gifts are always welcomed with gratitude!
Q. WHAT IF I WANTED TO PLEDGE A DIFFERENT MONTHLY AMOUNT?
You can pledge any amount that you like but you will be included in whichever partner level you are closest to without going over (i.e. $175/ mo. would be a Gardener/Supporting Church).
Q. CAN I CHOOSE A PARTNERSHIP LEVEL BUT GIVE ONE TIME OR ON A QUARTERLY BASIS?
Of course! For each partnership level the donations and benefits are structured on a 1 yr. basis so if you wanted to become a Scatterer ($50/mo.) you could send a one-time gift of $600 or quarterly gifts of $150 and still receive all of the benefits and services offered throughout the year.
